"What's next for the Barna Railway?" 

We are constantly adding to and changing parts of Barna Railway, but there is still one major feature to be completed.

Barna Station

This project is still under construction. (Yes I could have built a full size station quicker..!).

 The platform was cast in 2007, but several problems with the final finish prevented the station from been completed.

A temporary finish was applied and this will do until the Spring of 2008. 

We might even consider casting a complete new station in 2008. 

New Buildings on the way

There are very few buildings on the railway at the moment, so work has commenced on building a signal cabin for Barna Junction and there are plans for a small goods depot, a fuelling area and the odd line side hut.

Unfortunately the contract was given to the same company who are building the station, (me) so it will probably take years before we see anything....!
